Women Force Catches Country Liquor Transit at Dhupguri

Webdesk, TNI Dhupguri 26^th June, 2017: A passenger vehicle fully loaded with illicit liquor was entering Mallickpara area under Dhupguri Block. This information reached the area and soon the women were seen blocked the road of the vehicle and searched vehicles plying through Bogribari area.

In the process, a vehicle was found to be laden with passengers yet there were full cartons of at least 6-7 cartons full of country-made liquor. The police were called in immediately. However, the locals pointed fingers at the police and accused that police knew all this, they are yet to take any action. Earlier, the women of the area had done many demonstrations against liquor sales.
